So John pulled up his courage and faced the monkeys with a cold hard stare. In return, they gazed back, unblinking, with their, still stone gaze.



They stared and they stared for hours, and the hours slowly creeped into days. They stared for ten whole days, each side unrelenting. On the tenth day, the monkeys began to twitch slightly, and shift their positions on their posts, but John remained steadfast and maintained his stare upon them.



Finally, the monkeys could not take it any more and realized they had been defeated in the staring contest. All of their pent-up energy exploded, and they lept out of their seats and went flying into the tops of the trees.



Now John could grab the little twerp with the chocolate,and even though he knew the monkeys had diverted him with the little girl, he could still see the blue bird flying in the distance, carrying the girl hundreds of feet above the ground...

So then John, realized what he was really doing.


The monkeys had such a strong gaze that they hypnotized him and brain washed him into forgetting his real mission. He was too distracted by the little girl and her chocolate that he forgot about the little batman boy who stole his chocolate.

They were really all conspirators against him.

So now it was back to figuring out how to get past the monkey's and their gaze. He came up with an idea. So he thought, maybe these monkey's just really want a staring contest, and if he wins, maybe they would let him get to the boy and the chocolate. Ok, so the game was on!

He was shocked to see such a little girl surrounded by these monkeys, and he was still really worried about his wife, and didn't know how much time he had left! The all of a sudden a big blue bird with a strong beak swooped down out of the trees, snatched the little girl and his chocolate!



The monkeys looked up, shocked to see this bird appear out of no where and snatch the little girl and the chocolate.




John didn't know what to do, not only was he still worried about his wife, but he was very concerned for this little girl! Who was she? Who was the blue bird? Why was he taking her, and where in the world were they headed...

As he continued to stand there, flabbergasted, the monkeys continued to strengthen their gaze upon him...

Then behind two of the biggest monkeys, John saw that they were really hiding a precious little something. A little girl was sitting behind the two monkeys eating chocolate and sharing some of the pieces with them.

It turns out that the monkeys really liked chocolate too. It turns out, that kids coming by these monkeys liked to feed the monkeys chocolate.

The monkey's were chocolate freaks, it was like a drug to them.

So John didn't know what to do. Not only did he have to find this kid, but he had to figure out why this little girl was with the monkeys. He had to get his chocolate back. He hoped the monkeys didn't eat it. He had to find something else to give the monkeys in exchange for the chocolate, and lure batman boy out of his cave.

He didn't know what to do, but he knew that he absolutely had to get that chocolate.
He rushed past the crowd of people in the city square, keeping his eye focused on the fast-moving creature. He ran down the sidewalks, past all of the buildings, and eventually came into the forest surrounding the city, where he came upon 4 fuzzy monkeys.

The little twerp clutched the chocolate tightly to his little twerp chest as he sat crouched in between the cracks in the rocks where the monkeys perched.






The monkeys sat tranquil, calm for a while, but when they noticed John in their space, they began to gaze at him where their intense, penetrating eyes



John thought he could just ignore them, and reach in between the rocks to grab the little twerp, get the chocolate for his wife, and high-tail it out of the woods...

But there was something about the monkey's stare that told him otherwise...

So he remembered that they always gave out free stuff during campaigns, so he knew he needed to go to the big campaign today on the city square.

Today, was John's lucky day, because John saw that they were practically giving away a whole freakin' stand of chocolate!

John laughed to himself, knowing how much a pregnant lady could eat and crave chocolate. But he was imaging if his wife saw this, that she would want to eat the whole thing and be a cow.

So instead of buying the whole thing, he decided he better only buy one bar, and just not tell her about the rest. So he bought a Hershey's bar, because Hershey's is the best!

So John was getting ready to take the candy bar to revive his wife, when this cute, rotten little twerp just ran flying like batman out of nowhere and stole the candy bar from him. He didn't know what to do...

He knew that he and his wife reeeeeeeally needed some chocolate. Today, his wife and baby had become extremely ill, and he knew that they had to act fast.





He had remembered hearing an old wise man once say that that any suffering person who ate of the special chocolate would be healed.



With the special chocolate, his wife and baby could live healthy lives.



He knew what he had to do. The problem now was where and how to find the chocolate and fast.
